Platt College Information Technology Services Mission
The mission of Platt College Information Technology Services is to provide the leadership, guidance, and technical skills required to establish and support an information technology architecture and accompanying services, including the use of technology for the purpose of teaching and learning that support the College's mission and core values.
Who Are We?
IT Services provides data, video, media, multimedia, hardware, and software support for Platt College. The purpose of this web site is to enhance the support services provided to administration, faculty, staff, and students by IT Services. This site provides a number of resources to assist the users in resolving problems, and reporting bugs.
Services We Provide
Help Desk
The IT Services Help Desk exist primarily to ensure uninterrupted IT services on campus and online. As part of our desire to serve our students, faculty and staff, we also provide minor support on PCs and MACs.
You can enlist our services by:
1. clicking here to submit a help desk ticket directly to IT Services (please note a 12 hour turn around for a response might occur depending on the time and date of submitting a ticket)
2. calling the main desk at 303.369.5151 and requesting the IT Services Coordinator
3. visiting IT Services in Room 205 on the Platt College campus. Our hours of operation are 1:00-5:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am-2:00 pm on Fridays (for the Spring 2012 quarter)
After Hours Call Support
Faculty, Staff, and Students
If you experience any of the following problems after hours (weeknights 5:00 pm to 8:00 am and weekends from Friday 2:00 pm through 8 am Monday), report them by clicking here directly.
Outage of an enterprise system such as My Platt College, email, or website services (such as the student portal, faculty portal, or library databases)
Individual outages will be addressed during business hours. Reports of individual outages should be made by calling the main desk at 303.369.5151or by emailing itservices@plattcolorado.edu if possible.
Notices and Alerts
Occasionally IT Services will need to schedule maintenance that impacts My Platt College and/or email usage. When possible, we will announce outages and other changes in advance via the Platt College Website or announcements section in My Platt College.
E-mail Account
Each student, faculty, and staff member is assigned a Platt College e-mail account. The College uses this account to communicate important information with you; be sure to check it often.
Your e-mail address is your firstname.lastname (john.smith) plus the domain (@plattcolorado.edu).

Student Portal-My Platt College
My Platt College is your one-stop shop to access all information regarding course schedules, degree audit, transcripts, billing, financial aid, online documents, course content, grades, and more.
Portal Services
Transcripts:
Although you can view and print your transcript from the portal, these transcripts are unofficial and cannot be used for proof of academic work. To obtain an official transcript (with a seal) click here. (request a transcript page)
Schedules:
You can use My Platt College to view and print your class schedule. Always check the on-line schedule the first day of the term to verify time and location.
My Ledger:
My Ledger will show all charges and credits to your account that have been received by the Financial Services office. It does not reflect charges and credits that are pending such as loans. Be sure to click on the My Financial Aid link to review pending aid.
My Grades:
The My Grades page shows final grades for each term. Grades will not be mailed.
Computer Labs
Computers are available in the Knowledge Resource Library (MAC and PCs).
Library Databases
Platt College Knowledge Resource Library provides a number of research databases. These databases are available to students, faculty and staff. Click here to access the library website directly.
Printing services are available to all faculty, staff and students. Every printer on campus is available to faculty and staff. Students, however, are limited to printers in the library and computer labs.
