Student Activities
Serving Denver, Colorado
Student Activities actively pursues the development of a positive, supportive, and inclusive sense of community at Platt College. We seek to build community, develop leaders and encourage student involvement in extra-curricular activities.
The Student Services office is responsible for organizing special events and parties, such as Sack Lunch Seminars, holiday parties and social activities to educate and entertain students, faculty and staff.
The Student Services office also aides the Platt Student Nurses Association (PSNA), organize community outreach events such as food drives and toy drives and creates publications that keep students in the know-how about the happenings as Platt College.
The Platt College Comic Book Club was formed to enhance the artistic skills of students at Platt College and further their knowledge on the process of producing a comic book. This club is run by students an offers educational opportunities in story writing, character development, perspective drawing, inking, coloring (traditional and digital techniques), drawing from life, publishing and much more. This club is not only for those who are interested in comic books and graphic novels but also for those who would like to solidify their drawing skills and learn about publication design. Join now! It is a great way to meet new people with like interests and improve design and drawing skills within a relaxed atmosphere. Eligibility of membership is open to all Platt College students.
Check out the events calendar for more information.
