What is career placement? And how successful is Platt College?

At Platt College, our focus is students.  In fact, we believe students come first.  The Office of Academic Support and Career Services puts students, recent graduates, and alumni first.  Our career placement results sets us apart.  For the last reporting year*, 94.7% of all graduates found jobs! 

Breakdown: 95% of graduates from the School of Nursing and 94% of graduates from the School of Design began working in the field within six months of graduation.  Because Platt College offers quality undergraduate education that provides students with competencies, skills, and levels of education for continued success in higher education and in the career field, as stated in our Statement of Mission, we help you prepare for the future.  

Completion Rates* for graduates in the Associate of Applied Science in Interactive Website Design was 50%, for the Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts was 75%, and for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing was 57% for a College total of 58.4%.

The Academic Support and Career Services Office proactively works with graduates to identify employment opportunities, secure and schedule interviews with employers, and follow up to ensure that graduates start their careers.  Having successfully placed graduates for over 24 years as a college, and over 4 years in the field of nursing, we are well established in the Denver-metro area.

What are the rates I need to know?  How do they impact me?
