What is your favorite sports team?

The Colorado Rockies

What is one fun fact about you?

I hate clowns!

What is your favorite free time activity?

I love watching movies and great T.V. shows, like Game of Thrones... "Winter is coming."

What is your favorite place to eat in the Aurora area?

Star of India

What was the most interesting class you took in college and why?

I really enjoyed Anthropology of Blues Culture. It allowed me to learn about Blues music in all its myriad social and cultural roles and contexts.

When potential applicants ask you why Platt College is the place to earn a BSN, what do you tell them?

The faculty and staff at Platt College foster a learning environment that is uniquely focused on student success and achievement. Smaller class sizes offer more personalized intsruction and aid in preparing Platt graduates for success upon entering the nursing profession.

Why do you work in admissions at Platt College?

I enjoy helping people realize their potential, achieve their goals, and better their community.

What is one piece of advice you would give to potential applicants?

It is an intensive program that requires commitment and personal accountability. My advice is to stay focused on achieving your goal.

What is one fun fact about you?

I love getting scared – roller coasters, scary movies, skydiving, haunted houses – anything that will get my blood pumping.

What is your favorite free time activity?

I love movies, so watching a new comedy or obscure indie film with my friends and family is always fun!

What is your favorite place to eat in the Aurora area?

Sam's 3! Nothing beats breakfast all day.

What was the most interesting class you took in college and why?

I really enjoyed a sociology class entitled Race & Ethnicity.  It was an excellent opportunity to understand the dynamic of race in the US and dissect the different issues surrounding ethnicity in our culture. 

When potential applicants ask you why Platt College is the place to earn a BSN, what do you tell them?

The faculty and staff truly care about your success – this means they know who you are and care about how you are doing inside and outside of class.  If you are looking to blend into a wave of students, this is not the place for you.  Our students stand out.

Why do you work in admissions at Platt College?

I love getting to know people and helping them reach their goals.  There is nothing better than seeing someone succeed at something they saw as "just a dream" a few years prior.

What is one piece of advice you would give to potential applicants?

Truly take the time to align your interests and goals with what Platt has to offer.  If you believe this institution is the best means to achieving your goals, we are here to help and happy to have you!
