Do users need to use flash player?

Yes, flash player will be used to create an account, place an order and watch training videos.

What happens when a document is rejected?

When a document is rejected by Complio, a notification is emailed to the student detailing what was rejected and the reasons why the document was rejected. Students are encouraged to contact a Compliance Officer at Complio to resolve the rejected document. When connected, students should ask the compliance officer:

  1. Why was the document rejected? and
  2. What do I need to fix the document so I can come into compliance quickly.
What if a shot series is not completed before I go to my clinical rotation?

Students will not be allowed to attend clinical/simulation rotations without all documents uploaded and accepted into the Complio system. Students need to submit each vaccine as a vaccine series in completed. 

Where can I get an Amercian Heart Association approved CPR card?

Students need to go directly to the “American Heart Association” to get their CPR/BLS for health care provider.

  4. Provide current and future due dates for compliance to be met in order to attend clinical and/or simulation rotations.

Complio and How Platt College Uses the System

Complio is a cloud-based document management service provided through American Data Bank.  Compliance Officers at Complio verify at Complio verify compliance documentation necessary for students to attend their clinical learning experience. Approved compliance documentation is housed in Complio. Approved compliance documentation is linked into the student’s My Clinical Exchange account to attest compliance to attend a clinical rotation. Complio is a HIPAA secured website. All information stored in Complio are securely protect. Students' information in Complio is only shared between the student, American DataBank, Platt College, and any associated agencies Platt College and the student wish to share the information with such as My Clinical Exchange.

Complio Terms Defined for Student Usage

  • Acceptable Document: Documents submitted to Complio must have a physician or provider’s name typed or stamped on the compliance documentation.
  • Rejected Document: Written documentation is not validated nor accepted by Complio. Written documents might include, but is not limited to: a physician or provider’s handwritten notes or attestations. Documents are not accepted if the compliance officer at Complio is unable to read the document or results. Students should ensure that uploaded documents are clear and readable. Requirements to validate compliance are based upon requirements from the Colorado Health Care organizations, educational institutions and regulatory agencies.
  • Simulation Document: Students should enter the first day of your first terms as your program the start date.  For example, if the first day of class for the quarter is September 11, 2017, then that is date to be used.  The program start date can be found on the back of a student’s Platt College ID. 
  • Document approval timeframe: It will take a minimum of 48 to 72 hours for your submitted documentation to be approved.
  • Over all status “compliant”: Compliant status is when all of the complaint categories have been approved. Students will need to have an overall compliant status to be placed in a nursing class and clinical rotation. The overall status needs to state compliant by the applicable compliance date below.

Purchasing a Drug Screen As a Current Student in the Program

The steps to purchasing a drug screen are easy to complete in Complio.

  1. Log into Complio
  2. Click: Place Order on top right of screen
  3. Select Program: Nursing
  4. Load Packages
  5. Select Drug Screening Only ($48.00)
  6. Complete personal information if you haven’t already
  7. Click Next
  8. Select Location you want to go
  9. Review and Sign all documents electronically
  10. You will then select: Payment Type: Invoice with Approval

Once Platt College receives notification, the approval process for the drug screen request will take place.  Platt College will incur the cost of the drug screen for current students.  Once the drug screen is approved and complete, Complio will automatically upload the document into the student's account.

Compliance Dates

Students must be compliant on the following dates to be registered in a nursing course and scheduled for a clinical/simulation rotation for the 2024 quarters:

Deadlines for Winter 2024 quarter (start date January 8, 2024)

  • Student deadline for compliance documents November 17, 2023 (Friday night at midnight)
  • Non-compliant students will not be enrolled in nursing courses and will not receive a clinical schedule for the following quarter.
  • Students receive winter term schedule and practicum courses open providing clinical schedule December 8, 2023
  • Enrolled students’ deadline for any additional out of compliance documents (that might have expired during the process) January 5, 2024 (Friday night at midnight)
  • Non-compliant students will be removed from their nursing courses on the drop date January 12, 2024.

Deadlines for Spring 2024 quarter (start date April 1, 2024)

  • Student deadline for compliance documents February 16, 2024 (Friday night at midnight)
  • Non-compliant students will not be enrolled in nursing courses and will not receive a clinical schedule for the following quarter.
  • Students receive spring term schedule and practicum courses open providing clinical schedule March 1, 2024.
  • Enrolled students’ deadline for any additional out of compliance documents (that might have expired during the process) March 29, 2024 (Friday night at midnight).
  • Non-compliant students will be removed from their nursing courses on the drop date April 5, 2024.

Deadlines for Summer 2024 quarter (start date June 24, 2024)

  • Student deadline for compliance documents May 10, 2024 (Friday night at midnight)
  • Non-compliant students will not be enrolled in nursing courses and will not receive a clinical schedule for the following quarter.
  • Students receive summer term schedule and practicum courses open providing clinical schedule May 24, 2024.
  • Enrolled students’ deadline for any additional out of compliance documents (that might have expired during the process) June 21, 2024 (Friday night at midnight)
  • Non-compliant students will be removed from their nursing courses on the drop date June 28, 2024

Deadlines for Fall 2024 quarter (start date September 16, 2024)

  • Student deadline for compliance documents August 2, 2024 (Friday night at midnight)
  • Non-compliant students will not be enrolled in nursing courses and will not receive a clinical schedule for the following quarter.
  • Students receive fall term schedule and practicum courses open providing clinical schedule August 16, 2024
  • Enrolled students’ deadline for any additional out of compliance documents (that might have expired during the process) September 13, 2024 (Friday night at midnight)
  • Non-compliant students will be removed from their nursing courses on the drop date September 20, 2024.
