Platt College recognizes the financial and life challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has presented for many of our students.
The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP), also known as HEERF III, was authorized to serve students and ensure learning continues during the the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please read and review the contents of this document thoroughly. You will be asked to provide a self-certification of any financial hardship and expense you experienced because of the COVID-19 pandemic. You must complete this self-certification by August 1, 2021 to be considered for a grant. If you do not complete this document by August 1, 2021, the grant offer will be cancelled, and you will no longer be eligible for financial consideration under this grant program.

Platt College will distribute the ARP aid on a tiered formula. This tiered formula is determined by a students Expected Family Contribution (EFC) from the 2020-21 FAFSA application.
This section is a self-assessment of whether any heightened financial hardship may have affected you because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please take a moment to ask yourself if and/or how you, your family, or your studies have been impacted by effects related to COVID-19. Have the effects related to COVID-19 resulted in any additional expenses for tuition, fees, housing, food, childcare, utilities, unexpected travel expenses, and or technology due to the disruption of campus operations caused by COVID-19? Have the effectes related to COVID-19 affected you in other ways causing you heightened financial hardship?

Print out a copy of the confirmation for your records. Platt College will only accept one submission per student. If you submit more than one time, your initial submission will be the one that is used for the grant certification.
