Child Care

While Platt College does not offer child care, there are plenty of available child care providers in the Aurora area. Some options for students to consider regarding child care include:

Academic Resources for Students

Platt College provides a variety of services to help you succeed. The Academic Support and Career Services Center is designed for all College students both on campus and online.

Tutoring

Online student tutoring is available in numerous subjects via the Smartthinking service. Students may visit the Smarthinking website for sample tutorials that demonstrate how the online tutoring platform works, and how students and tutors interact in the process of addressing a question.

Off-Campus Housing

Because there is no College-owned, on-campus housing at Platt College, the College maintains a listing of rental housing options for incoming and current students. College staff does not inspect the units, nor does it warrant any of the information provided by the listors. Please perform a thorough inspection before moving into any property.

Platt College Student Nurses Association

The School of Nursing at Platt College offers students a unique opportunity to become a member of the School of Nursing at Platt College Student Nurses Association (PSNA).  Platt College’s SNA is a chapter of the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA), as well as the Colorado Student Nurses Association.

May Platt College deny my admission because I have a disability?

No. If you meet the requirements for admission, complete the admissions process, and are selected based on the committee's review of your scoring rubric, the College may not deny your admission simply because you have a disability.

Platt College Emergency Alert System

Welcome to the Platt College Emergency Alert System. Rave Alert is Platt College’s official emergency notification system used to communicate with students and employees during campus emergencies. Rave Alert is a licensed service Platt College pays for to offer the quickest and most reliable communications possible. This system is used only during campus emergencies that pose a safety concern for the community.
