Student Services, Events, and Visitors on Campus

Student Services

All student services will be open and accessible for students in staggered business hours during the Fall 2020 quarter. Services will be provided virtually, whenever possible. Some services will offer extended hours virtually. Offices and waiting areas will be adjusted to maintain physical distancing. Plexiglass, separators, and sneeze guards have been installed, where necessary.

Preparedness and Response for Resurgence

The fall quarter will include a combination of face-to-face and remote online instruction. Faculty and students should plan and prepare themselves for a blended approach to instruction, as well as for the potential return to remote instruction, should a need arise due to COVID-19.

Getting started:

Academics

Calendar Dates for Fall 2020 Quarter

Classes will begin on Monday, September 14.  Classes will end on Friday, November 20.

Resources Local and Global Regarding COVID-19

Working in Our Office Environment

Employees must wear masks when entering and exiting the building.  Additionally, all employees are asked to wear masks in common shared areas such as shared lunch areas and restrooms.  Employees are asked to eat lunch in their offices or off campus and not in shared areas.  For employees who work in shared areas (i.e. faculty offices and the library) a designated lunch area will be made available that follows CDC guidelines.

Restroom, Elevator, Classroom, Lab/Sim, and Shared Spaces

Using Restrooms

Use of restrooms should be limited to a maximum of 2 people at a time to ensure at least 6 feet distance in all directions between individuals. Wash your hands thoroughly afterward to reduce the potential transmission of the virus. Use a drying towel to open the door and discard in the waste receptacle placed outside in the hallway.
